The information on this page regarding warranties and legal rights is intended for products purchased in New Zealand only.

Ecomm Co Limited warrants against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year commencing on the date of the original purchase of such product. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, tampering, or unreasonable use, or service performed by unauthorised service agencies. Loss or damage to removable parts will not result in the replacement of the entire product. Due to continuing improvements, actual product may differ slightly from the product described herein.

Implied warranties
The foregoing is the sole warranty for the products. Ecomm Co Limited hereby disclaims any implied warranty that the products will be merchantable or fit for any particular purpose. Ecomm Co Limited liability and customer’s exclusive remedy under the foregoing paragraph will be limited to replacement or repair of the product. The warranties above are exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, whether express or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of remedies
In no event will Ecomm Co Limited or any of its affiliated or subsidiary companies be responsible for any special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this product, or based on any breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, tort or any other legal theory. Such damages may include without limitation, loss of savings or revenue; loss of profit; loss of use; the claims of third parties, including without limitation retailers; any cost of any substitute equipment or services.

The warranty gives specific legal rights, and you may have other legal rights which vary from state to state or country to country.

AMEMO Luminous Microdermabrasion and Blackhead Remover Device One-Year Limited Warranty 

Ecomm Co Limited warrants the included device and accessories against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original retail purchase. Ecomm Co Limited does not warrant against normal wear and tear, nor damage caused by accident or abuse. If you submit a valid claim under this warranty, Ecomm Co Limited will either repair, replace or refund your Luminous microdermabrasion device at its own discretion. Warranty benefits are in addition to rights provided under local consumer laws. You may be required to furnish proof of purchase details when making a claim under this warranty.

Claim process
In the unlikely instance that your microdermabrasion device is defective, please email hello@amemo.com [within 12 months of purchase] to submit a claim. You must be 18 years of age or older to submit your warranty claim

You will need to provide all the information we ask for, so that we can assess your claim. If we accept your claim or if we need to inspect the product to better assess your claim, we will send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. We will notify you once we have received and inspected your returned Product. If we agree with your claim, we will either:
1. replace the Product for a new, equivalent Product; or
2. repair the Product; or
3. provide you with a refund.  
The election of whether to replace the product, repair the product, or provide you with a refund will be at our discretion. This is unless the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 applies and the Product has a major
fault (in which case it is your choice whether you opt for a replacement or a refund) or if there are other applicable laws that provide you with this choice and
that are not excluded under this warranty. If we approve a refund, you will be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card to process and post the refund too.
